Ines HINOSTROZA - San Antonio- Texas

“knowledge is power” I'm sure it’s a quote heard at least once in your lifetime. A passion of mine would be expanding my knowledge. I like to learn new things everyday and to teach others. I believe knowledge can get you anywhere, its also something everyone is capable if their mind is set to it.

My biggest role model is my mom. She’s taught me that I can do anything I set my mind to, to be loyal, respectful, honest and most importantly, to be humble.

Nathanael HERNANDEZ Salt Lake City – UTAH

I believe that there is a Higher Power that will judge me after this life, this God will judge according to how I treated everyone here on earth. God will be more concerned on what type of father I was, what kind of husband; and while titles, money, ranks are very important, they will count for nothing on the next life, they count for nothing if I don’t use them to do good while I am alive.

Avery GARCIA – Corpus Christi – Texas

My passion is making sure I am always on the fight. I believe that giving up doesn’t mean you’re a loser, it means that you just need a break from whatever you’re fighting for or with but in the end you’ll always come back bigger and stronger for the fight.

Carmen LAMBAREN San Diego – California

I’m a positive and determined person. I set a goal and motivate myself to achieve it despite the obstacles. Strong mind and hard working person.

AMAN KANG Atlanta- Georgia

I research a lot, it does not matter what the topic is, I like to find information and try to really do it in my life.

I believe that life is too short and there are many things to do out there and I do not like to miss my opportunity because I find the information too late.

Jaelyn Giovonn PERRY   Dallas - Texas

I’m only 21 so I don’t know exactly who I am yet but I like to think I’m a strong funny and smart person. I got there just going through life lessons that I’ve encountered.

I struggled when I kept getting set back in boot camp because of my anemia it was very hard on my mental health and at times I thought I wouldn’t make it. But I knew I wanted to come out a sailor so I pushed all the negative feelings and thoughts to the side and kept going no matter how many times I got knocked down.

Thomas RUSH   Lewistown  – Montana

I am a person who is still figuring out what all I want to do in life. I joined the Navy because I knew it was a great option for life experience, along with family members above me having enlisted as well. When I was younger, I struggled making friends. I learned quickly how to know who to trust in life.

Kaila Genesis CARLSON  Birmingham –Alabama

“My passion is just being able to help people. I believe people should be kind to everyone no matter their race, religion, or sexuality. Kindness goes a long way to me”.

Ashley FLEMING Orlando– Florida

I graduated high school in 2020 during COVID-19 and wanted to have a stable job while still taking courses to receive my Associate’s degree. I love being able to travel so being stationed in Italy has allowed me to visit fourteen European countries, which I’m very grateful for.
